Description:
1) Roles of the committee:
The parliamentary inquiry committee will discuss the matter of the integration of Arab workers in the public sector, and will examine the following issues:
(a) The implementation of the laws regarding fair representation of Arab employees in the civil service.
(b) The barriers that stand in the way of Arab candidates and employees in the civil services, and the means by which to remove these barriers.
(c) The work of various government offices, companies, and authorities which were established by law, regarding their integration of Arab employees.

The committee will present its conclusions, including the suggestion of an effective mechanism for the implementation of the law that demands fair representation of Arabs in the public sector.

2) Authority of the committee:
The parliamentary inquiry committee will have the same authority given to Knesset standing committees regarding the right to summons, information gathering, and setting the agenda.
